Welcome to Circa Bar KL, operated by Rokumeiken Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 202101012345). By visiting our premises, using our website at circabarkl.com, or making a reservation with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Entry Conditions

Circa Bar KL is an adults-only venue. Entry is strictly restricted to individuals aged 18 years and above in accordance with Malaysian licensing laws and regulations. Valid government-issued photo identification (MyKad, passport, or international driving licence) may be requested at any time.

We operate a secret passcode entry system. A weekly passcode is published exclusively on our official Instagram account (@circabarkl). The current passcode must be entered at the door to gain entry. Possession of a valid reservation does not exempt any guest from the passcode requirement.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any guest from the premises at our absolute discretion, including but not limited to situations involving:

• Failure to present valid identification upon request
• Intoxication upon arrival
• Aggressive, threatening or disruptive behaviour
• Non-compliance with our dress code (smart casual minimum; management decision is final)
• Capacity restrictions

2. Reservations & Bookings

Reservations can be made via our website contact form, by email to enquiry@circabarkl.com, or by WhatsApp to +60 14-726 2474. All reservations are subject to availability and are only confirmed upon receipt of a written confirmation from us.

2.1 Confirmation

A reservation is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from Circa Bar KL. We aim to confirm all reservations within 24 hours of receiving your request.

2.2 Cancellations & No-Shows

We kindly request that any cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to cancel within this period, or failure to appear for a confirmed reservation (no-show), may affect future booking eligibility. For private events with deposits paid, cancellation policies will be outlined in your specific event agreement.

2.3 Late Arrivals

Reserved tables will be held for a maximum of 30 minutes beyond the stated arrival time. After this period, Circa Bar KL reserves the right to release the table. If you expect to be late, please notify us as soon as possible via WhatsApp or phone.

2.4 Minimum Spend

Certain reserved tables, particularly on peak nights (Thursday–Saturday), may be subject to a minimum spend requirement per person. Any applicable minimum spend will be clearly communicated at the time of booking confirmation.

3. Private Events

Private event bookings (including birthday celebrations, corporate events, and full bar buyouts) are subject to a separate Private Event Agreement that will be provided upon confirmation of your booking. Key conditions include:

• A non-refundable deposit (typically 30–50% of estimated total spend) is required to secure the date
• Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 72 hours before the event
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date will forfeit the full deposit
• Circa Bar KL is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from private events unless caused by our direct negligence

4. Responsible Service of Alcohol

Circa Bar KL is committed to the responsible service of alcohol in compliance with Malaysian law. We will refuse service to any individual who:

• Appears to be under the legal drinking age of 18
• Is visibly intoxicated or impaired
• Is purchasing alcohol on behalf of a minor

We encourage all guests to drink responsibly and to arrange for safe transportation home. We accept no liability for any incidents arising from excessive alcohol consumption.

5. Conduct on Premises

All guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and orderly manner at all times. Circa Bar KL operates a zero-tolerance policy towards violence, harassment, discrimination, or any behaviour that compromises the safety or enjoyment of other guests and staff.

Any guest engaging in prohibited conduct will be immediately asked to leave without refund. In serious cases, we reserve the right to involve the relevant authorities.

Photography and social media content creation are welcomed and encouraged, provided they do not infringe on the privacy or comfort of other guests. Commercial photography or videography requires prior written consent from management.

6. Property & Liability

Circa Bar KL accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage to any personal belongings brought onto the premises. Guests are advised to keep their valuables secure at all times. Our coat check (where available) is provided as a courtesy and does not constitute a bailment agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Circa Bar KL's liability for any claim arising from your visit shall not exceed the amount you spent during the relevant visit.

7. Website Use

Our website at circabarkl.com is provided for informational purposes. All content, including text, images, logos, and design, is the intellectual property of Rokumeiken Sdn. Bhd. and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

Menu prices, opening hours, and event information are subject to change without notice. We endeavour to keep information current but do not warrant its accuracy at all times.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
